Beginning in October, a huge shoal of sardines, marlin, sharks, dolphin and sometimes even orcas gather off the Baja Peninsula of Mexico for the show of a lifetime. Join us for an expedition to freedive with these amazing animals in San Carlos, Mexico near Magdalena Bay! Last year’s sightings included whales, dolphins, marlin and even dorado.
Denver Freedivers will be staying one night in La Paz and five nights in San Carlos to combine training with animal interaction. We will freedive one day at the famous Espiritu Santo with the sea lions before heading to Magdalena Bay for 4 days of action-packed freediving. While freedive experience is not required, it is strongly recommended to have taken at least a Freedive Pool course before joining us for this amazing expedition!
Not Included: Airfare to/from SJD, meals and beverages not specified, personal dive gear, gratuities, trip cancellation insurance, dive insurance, single supplement ($800 additional), *Any costs related to COVID-19 testing, procedures, or quarantine
*While not currently in place in Mexico, all COVID testing and procedures are subject to change at any time.
