Banda Sea, Indonesia: Blue Whales & Colorful Coral
October 1-15, 2028
Snorkeling alongside migrating Blue Whales is one of the most extraordinary wildlife encounters on the planet, offering the rare chance to share the water with the largest animals on Earth. In the remote waters of the Banda Sea, these gentle giants pass through on migration, and when conditions allow, guests can quietly slip into the ocean for a respectful, unforgettable surface encounter.
Beyond the whales, the Banda Sea delivers a true expedition-style diving experience, with dramatic walls, vibrant reefs, and colorful corals teeming with life. Diving from the renowned Pindito Liveaboard gives guests access to pristine, rarely visited sites where divers may encounter schools of barracuda and trevally, as well as Scalloped Hammerhead sharks cruising through the blue. Combined with remote islands and life at sea, this journey is as adventurous as it is unforgettable.
With no set itinerary, your days will be filled with excitement, searching for Blue Whales, diving up to four dives per day and paddleboarding through the remote islands of the Banda Sea.
