Warm, gin-clear waters surround the island of Cozumel, making it one of the best dive destinations in the western hemisphere – and one of our favorite! We are going back to Cozumel for Carnaval, where we will be staying at Casa del Mar, a boutique all-inclusive resort located in the heart of the island. Aldora Divers will be taking us diving and, best of all, it is Eagle Ray season, so don’t miss it!

Certification Requirements:
- Minimum Referral Diver: Once you complete your Open Water Diver class and pool sessions, you can sign up to complete your certification dives while on one of our group trips!
- Certified Divers: You will be required to prove when your most recent dive took place. If it has been longer than a year, the Cozumel dive shop may require a Scuba Skills Update prior to diving with them

Weather Conditions: Located near the Gulf of Mexico, air temperatures will vary between 78°F to 86°F in the winter, with low chances of precipitation.
Water Conditions: Water temperatures can range between 78°F to 82°F in the winter. Cozumel is known for it's currents which can vary from mild to strong. The local guides will always choose the dive site based on current water and weather conditions, though every dive is a drift dive so the boat will follow you from the time you enter the water and will pick you up where ever you surface.
