Once able to swim two lengths of the pool in each of the four competitive swim strokes, students are ready for our non-competitive Swim Practice! We have two levels of swim practice: Angel Fish and Manta Rays.

Angel Fish:

Angle Fish is a 45-minute swim practice designed for children who have graduated from Stroke Development lessons or have had an evaluation and placement recommendation. These weekly practices give your child the opportunity to learn tools and techniques used by competitive and fitness swimmers.

Once students can swim 100 feet each stroke with turns, they are ready to advance to the Manta Rays!

Manta Rays:

Manta Rays is designed for children who have mastered skills taught during the Angelfish Swim Practice or have had an evaluation and placement recommendation. This is the only class that is taught with the instructor out of the water. This weekly, 45-minute non-competitive swim workout will include sets of exercises that help develop endurance. Manta Rays focus on legal starts and turns building up to swimming 200 feet of each of four strokes and competently swim Individual Medleys and Medley Relays.

Please call us if you have any questions about what level is right for your child 303-399-2877.
