Dive into a world of fun, learning, and confidence-building at The Swim School of Denver, a small family-owned business located in the heart of Cherry Creek North. Our vibrant swim program is specially designed for children under the age of six, offering a unique experience created by passionate directors trained as Infant Aquatics instructors. We’ve combined the latest child development knowledge with our unique teaching approach to make each lesson a wave of excitement and progress.
Our friendly team is here to cheer your child on, celebrating every little victory along the way. From the first splash to mastering essential strokes, we focus on building self-rescue skills and water safety. Each skill taught lays a strong foundation, so your little one learns to float, swim, and feel confident in the water. Here’s what we aim to achieve:
- Boost Self-Rescue Skills: Helping children find their footing (or floating!) in the water to keep them safe.
- Master Freestyle: Teaching smooth, effortless strokes that turn swimming into a colorful underwater adventure.
- Backstroke Basics: Building on learned skills to introduce new techniques and keep the fun flowing!
We offer private lessons year-round, personalizing each session to suit every student’s specific needs, so every swimmer enjoys a fantastic journey and plenty of high-fives. Denver Divers is the best swim school in Denver! When my daughter was 2.5, she learned more in 6 weeks than my older child did in over a year of weekly private 30 min lessons at another popular swim school (at the same age). The instructors are incredible!

We LOVE the swim school!! All of the instructors are amazing - and so knowledgeable. I have had four kids in lessons there with all the different instructors and they meet them right where they are at. They have been so flexible with us and even supplied a swim diaper/towel when we have forgotten them. I recommend them to everyone I know and can’t say enough good things!

We LOVE the Swim School of Denver! Our kids started swimming at the Swim School of Denver when they were 1.5 years old and 2 years old. Within months we felt so much less anxiety going to pools because the kids could "find their air." 3 years later, my 4-year-old can swim laps by herself and loves every second of it. Additionally, the staff is incredibly friendly and very professional. I would recommend this school to anyone with littles looking to swim!

I don’t have a negative thing to say. Just praise and gratitude. We were on the waitlist for the Swim School for a while, long enough I had forgotten I signed up (honestly, I’m forgetful so it was a few months maybe a year). They took my daughter from not letting go of me with all fours anywhere near water to head under and enjoying herself within the first 15 min lessons. Six weeks later both of my kids are cool and confident in the water. Taking risks, they are comfortable with on their own and at lessons and are in the most capable hands. Hands down recommend even if it means no lessons for a while at all while you wait b/c this is where they will learn to be strong, safe and smart swimmers.

The Swim School of Denver is THE place for babies, toddlers, and kids to learn how to swim and be comfortable in the water. Both of my grandchildren have learned their amazing swim skills here starting at age one and are now four and six. My next grandchild will be born in Australia - not sure how we are going to accomplish the commute to Denver for his swim lessons! We bring our 3-year-old here to swim. These people really know what they're doing with these kids. They're expensive but they get your kid to get over any fears of the water and really swim! Worth every penny and recommend them to anyone who wants their child of any age to learn to swim and be safe in the water.

This place is great! My son had his first swimming lessons here. The pool uses a saltwater system, so it uses less harsh chemicals on little children. The instruction is broken into small chunks and involves play to help keep children engaged and calm. The instructors are patient, caring, certified in a program with young children, and good at what they do! The waiting area has plenty of toys for the kids, the bathrooms/changing areas have ample room, and there are quick rinse pool showers by the pool. They also offer dive lessons and have good gear for purchase

We also own a whole fleet of child-sized gear that we rent and sell. From BC's to wetsuits and everything in between, we have your child's size in anything they will need for enjoying the water. And they can try it out in our pool before you make an investment.
Because we understand children grow - sometimes fast - we offer an equipment exchange program for our youth-sized gear. This is how it works:
- Purchase the first item at full price (anything sized for youth)
- Turn in the gently-used item for Denver Divers to use in our rental program
- Purchase a replacement item for 50% of the retail price
- Repeat until your child has grown into their adult size
